In April 2024, we were faced with two incidents
involving the stabbing of innocent people in the Sydney region both two days
apart from each other. Yet what bothered some people was the fact that while a
Caucasian man intentionally killed strangers was “dismissed” as a crime, a
Middle-Eastern teenager targeting a priest was condemned a “terrorist act”.
